Renowned New York jewelry designer Dana Arthur-Monteleone is designing to save lives. This week Monteleone introduces her custom designed ‘Bracelet of Hope’ in stunning rose quartz and her signature pure silver medallion a ‘Hope’ charm with a percentage of proceeds supporting breast cancer research.
September 2005 (New York, NY) - Her jewelry has been worn by and designed for Oprah, Susan Taylor, Editorial Director of Essence magazine, Toccora Jones of UPN’s America’s Next Top Model and Celebrity Fit Club fame, Bridgett Hollingsworth Publisher of Bahiyah Woman magazine, and everyday women across America who’ve been lucky enough to discover her. Dana Arthur-Monteleone of Dana’s Jewelry Box (DJB) is no longer a best-kept secret!
Monteleone, in her signature style and warm giving spirit, has designed a stunning rose quartz bracelet, ‘Bracelet of Hope’ with a one of a kind pure silver medallion stamped with an ‘H’, a ‘Hope’ charm, to support breast cancer research. Dana who is no stranger to supporting research and worthy causes has worked with the Stroke of Hope Foundation, Art-Start and Dress for Success, where she donates pieces from her collection to low-income women making their transition into the workforce.
‘Bracelet of Hope’ was inspired like all of Dana’s collection, with the heart and soul of women in mind. “This is my way of giving back. It keeps me creative,” said the renowned designer. “When I give - share my art- it is always given back to me through inspiration and creativity. I believe in the law of reciprocity, and I truly want to find a cure for breast cancer—this is a ravaging disease, which is destroying lives and families.”
Each ‘Bracelet of Hope’ will be designed by hand and signed by the artist. No two bracelets will be alike.
“I hope when women wear this bracelet they are reminded that we will find a cure! We must continue to fight until we win this race. We must get mammograms, do self-breast exams and be proactive in our health care. The ‘Bracelet of Hope’ is a symbol of a life. The Hope charm was chosen because life is a blessing that should not to be taken for granted, and Monteleone believes a cure will be found in her lifetime.
‘Bracelet of Hope’ may be purchased online at www.djbdesigns.net. Those purchasing a bracelet before September 15th will receive a 10% discount certificate for a future DJB purchase.
The bracelet retails for $65. ‘Bracelet of Hope’ is dedicated to all survivors of breast cancer. No woman should be without this stunning and symbolic ‘Bracelet of Hope’. Monteleone shares, “My goal is to make 500 bracelets before September 30th with proceeds going to breast cancer research by October 1st, 2005.” Dana has her work cut out for her, and she’s fine with that because she is committed to designing for life and bringing hope to women and families. –
